Release date: September 16th, 2013
Taken from forthcoming album, The Last Cuppa,
Produced and mixed by Mark Gardener at Ox-4-Sound, engineered by Nick Moorbath at Evolution Studios and mastered by Tim Turan (Turan Audio) video directed by Lucas Sinclai Photography.London-based psych-pop chap Cagey Bee will sting your eyes clean out of your face with his debut single "Heat to Survive", a sun-addled three minutes of grinding dub rhythm section, fuzzed-out B-movie guitar and a synth line so wispy you'll think you've just exhaled it.

"My own brand clothing line to dress me / My own examining board to assess me" sings Bee, though in reality he has neither - you're not meant to take it entirely literally, as of course a certain amount of heat is necessary to survive.

The video was filmed in Barcelona during the city's most recent Primavera Sound festival and as such is as disorientingly sun-drenched as the song itself.
